Seismic Retrofitting

As of November 2015, City of Los Angeles, as well as other cities in Southern and Northern California passed ordinance No. 183893 that mandates seismic retrofitting of wood and concrete buildings that were designed before 1978. The goal is to reduce structural deficiencies and improve the performance of these buildings during earthquakes.
