As a new project engineer, you will be paired with an experienced engineer who will mentor and guide through the project design. Not only is the goal to design the project accordingly but also to produce work that reflects qualitative and professional characteristics. As a project engineer, you will provide structural engineering as well as minor civil engineering services.
We require you to have experience designing in Timber/Wood, Concrete, and Steel. Knowing Masonry design is also beneficial. Seismic and Wind design are also required.
Knowledge in using AutoCAD, EnerCalc, Microsoft Excel, or related programs is required. Knowledge in programs such as RISA 3D, SAP, Etabs, and RAM are also beneficial.
2+ years with EIT. P.E licence is not mandatory but you should be working towards obtaining it.
Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s Degree is very beneficial but not mandatory.

As a drafter, your work is critical so that the engineering and architectural plans match each other. An ideal candidate is someone who thinks creatively, communicates well with the engineers and architects, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment with several jobs occurring simultaneously.
You are responsible for developing an engineer’s concept drawing, detail and/or sketch into an accurate, digital representation with a scale/parameters. Converting verbal instruction to plans/models is also beneficial. You may be asked to update details, references, for current/future use. Adopting the company’s project standards in CAD is mandatory so that the work is consistent between drafters and engineers. Attention to detail and creativity is needed to overcome project & design challenges. Keeping an interest in the latest software innovations is also beneficial but not required.
2+ years experience working in using AutoCAD as well as a good understanding of relevant applications and program tools. You should know how to use basics of MS Word, Excel and Adobe. Software knowledge in Revit, Rhino, and Civil 3D is also beneficial but not required.
